Ray Rimell is currently writing a new, highly detailed and heavily illustrated book regarding the Potters Bar Zeppelin, shot down at Potters Bar in October 1916.

  • Springfields in a Grade II listed building
  • It is located in the district of Welwyn & Hatfield, not Hertsmere
  • It has been suggested that the house once belonged to the Maynard family that created Maynards Wine Gums. Is this true?

  • Kathleen lived at 68 Byng Drive, Potters Bar in 1941.
  • Occupation in 1941 was "Engineering Tracer"
  • In 1941 Kathleen, at the age of 32 had a daughter in Southgate.
  • Her daughter was put up for adoption in the same year
  • It is believed that Kathleen died in 1941 however this cannot be confirmed.
