Mount Grace
All references to the name "Mount Grace" in this article will refer to the residential premises which once occupied the grounds of the present day Mount Grace School.

Mount Grace was built in c1853 by Roger Fenton, the renowned Crimean War photographer, painter and lawyer, and was named after his Wife, Grace. It is understood that Roger Fenton originated from Northallerton, and it has been suggested that there could be an architectural influence from the Mount Grace priory in Yorkshire, especially in the shape of some of the windows.
